Podcast of The Month
Small towns talk- and we're listening. Jennifer Wix was just 21. Adrianna, her baby girl, was just 2. On March 25, 2004, the girls were never seen or heard from again. We started this podcast with a sliver of hope that perhaps one of the girls was still out there- after all, who could harm an innocent little girl? We now have confirmation that neither girls took a breath past March 25, 2004. Our mission is the same- bring the girls home, but our search has changed- we’re in a race to find their remains before any deals with the Devil can be made. Jennifer and Adrianna deserved better in our small town in 2004. What was once a Hush Town is now filled with Wix Warriors. Small towns talk…And we’ve been listening. We should start here, like I did. And come along as I take you deep into my 15+ month long journey as a Wix Warrior. Working alongside Casey Robinson, Jennifer Wix’s sister, we have poured countless hours walking together in this journey for justice- and we promise to take you along the way, as much as we can, as soon as we can. We won't stop until the girls are home and justice is served. No more good ole boys. No more HUSH TOWN. Small towns talk- and we're listening. Flavors of the Forest
Alex Shae has become a very good friend of mine! I think she's an amazing person and photographer so I wanted to add her here to show everyone what a wonderful person she is. Please consider checking out her Instagram for her photography, the photos she captures are done really well.
Book of the Month
The state of Maine, known for more than 3000 miles of coastline and over 17 million acres of forested land, also brings in over $7 Billion in annual tourist spending.
The term "Vacationland" began appearing on Maine license plates in 1936 as an homage to the millions of yearly visitors that continue to this day. However, thousands of Mainers have reported a different kind of visitor to their home state.
In 2014, Nomar Slevik wrote a book solely dedicated to the extraterrestrial phenomena in Maine. He shared startling experiences from locals in his debut book, UFOs Over Maine. With his second book, Otherworldly Encounters in 2018, he shared even more terrifying stories about abductions, confrontations with the men in black, alien interactions, and more.
The accounts appear to be never ending and for 2024, Slevik has transformed UFOs Over Maine into the ultimate experiencer edition with a completely rewritten and revamped version on its 10 year anniversary. Included are well known encounters, expanded stories, and brand new, never-before-published accounts.
This is a must have for any enthusiast of the strange.
